Total loss of power, burning smells, scorched accessories, exposed live conductors, water reaching electrical equipment, or a circuit that trips as soon as it is reset. If in doubt, switch the affected circuit off and call us.
Keep away from any damaged accessory or cable, switch off the affected circuit at the consumer unit if it is safe to reach, and do not keep resetting a breaker that trips straight back out.
