EICR & Landlord Reports.

An Electrical Installation Condition Report records the condition of the fixed electrical installation at the time of inspection. Observations are given a classification code (C1, C2, C3 or FI) and the report is recorded as satisfactory or unsatisfactory. It is a condition report, not a guarantee about the installation's future.

The consumer unit, circuits, earthing and bonding, accessories and a sample of the fixed wiring are inspected and tested. You receive the signed report along with a written quote for any remedial work identified.

We carry out EICRs for landlords, homeowners and commercial premises, with remedial work where required. Landlords of rented homes in England are required to have the installation inspected and tested at least every five years.

C1 and C2 observations, and any FI items, need attention before the installation can be recorded as satisfactory. We quote the remedial work separately so you can see exactly what is being put right and why.
